Snowflake (Cortex) Platform Engineer - Insurance

• Own Snowflake platform administration, performance, and cost optimisation.
\n
• Manage RBAC, access controls, SSO integrations, and security policies.
\n
• Implement data masking, row-level security, audit logging, and network controls.
\n
• Deliver platform upgrades, new feature adoption, and Terraform-based deployments.
\n
• Partner with Data Engineering, Security, and Cloud teams to drive best practices and continuous improvement.
\n
• Act as the Snowflake SME for platform operations, governance, and architecture.
\n

Essential Skills

\n
• Strong enterprise Snowflake administration experience.
\n
• Cortex AI
\n
• Expertise in Snowflake security, RBAC, governance, and access management.
\n
• Experience with warehouse management, performance tuning, and cost optimisation.
\n
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of Account Usage and Information Schema.
\n
• Terraform (or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tooling).
\n
• Cloud platform, networking, and identity management experience (e.g. Okta, Azure AD).
\n
• Available to start within 1 month (maximum notice period).
\n

Highly Desirable

\n
• SnowPro certification.
\n
• Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Data Sharing, or Clean Rooms.
\n
• Python automation.
\n
• dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Alation, or Collibra.
\n
• Experience within regulated environments.
\n
