We are seeking a Design Technology to join our team from September, covering a diverse curriculum that includes Engineering and Food Technology. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who has delivered lessons at both KS3 and KS4 levels.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
    \n
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Engineering and Food Technology to students at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • \n
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
  • \n
  • Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • \n
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • \n
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
  • \n
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • Proven experience in teaching Engineering and/or Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • \n
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students.
  • \n
  • Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • \n
