We are seeking a Design Technology to join our team from September, covering a diverse curriculum that includes Engineering and Food Technology. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who has delivered lessons at both KS3 and KS4 levels.
\nDay-to-day of the role:
\n- \n
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Engineering and Food Technology to students at KS3 and KS4 levels. \n
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards. \n
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. \n
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment. \n
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. \n
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Proven experience in teaching Engineering and/or Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels. \n
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Ability to engage and inspire students. \n
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students. \n
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). \n
