Hotel Real Estate Asset Management Analyst
Job Description
This role provides key support to the Asset Management team in a specialist Hotel Real Estate Investor. You will be responsible for producing meaningful analysis to support operational and financial decision-making, reporting / forecasting and assisting with investment, Re-Fi and disposal activities.

\nDescription
\nAsset Management & Financial Analysis
\n* Develop and maintain analytical tools to evaluate hotel operational performance.
\n* Analyse and benchmark operating results against budgets, forecasts, market performance and key performance indicators.
\n* Support the development and implementation of value-enhancing asset strategies.
\n* Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting.
\n* Participate in annual business planning and budgeting processes.
\n* Assist in identifying portfolio risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
\n* Develop forecasting models and sensitivity analyses.
\n* Support business case preparation for capital projects and investment initiatives.
\n* Produce presentations, reports and shareholder materials.
\n* Conduct market, operational and industry research.
\n* Support capital expenditure planning and reporting.
\n* Maintain reporting structures, documentation and data integrity.
\n* Assist with contract compliance reviews and agreement tracking.
\n* Manage action plans and follow-up processes relating to asset management initiatives.
\n* Support business intelligence and reporting platform administration.
\n\nInvestment, Disposal & Financing Support
\n* Build and maintain detailed financial models, cash flow analyses and investment appraisals.
\n* Assist with acquisition, refinancing and disposal activities.
\n* Undertake market and competitor research, including site visits where required.
\n* Analyse renovation and capital expenditure opportunities.
\n* Support due diligence processes and management of virtual data rooms.
\n* Assist with investment presentations and investor reporting.
\n* Prepare investment memo's, teaser documents and presentation materials.
\n* Support lender reporting requirements.
\n* Contribute to investment committee reporting and portfolio performance monitoring.
\n* Assist in the design and development of business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions.
\n* Research new technologies and analytical methodologies to improve reporting and business performance.
\nProfile
\nThe successful Hotel Real Estate Asset Management Analyst should have:
\n* Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Real Estate, Real Estate Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
\n* Hospitality-related qualifications, experience and a demonstrable passion for the Hotel industry will be advantageous.
\n* Minimum of 2 year's experience within hotel operations, hospitality finance, asset management, real estate investment or a related field.
\n* Understanding of hospitality industry performance metrics and investment return principles.
\n* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
\n* Experience using hospitality bench-marking and reporting platforms desirable.
\n* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n* Understanding of hotel accounting and operational performance drivers.
\n* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
\n* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
