We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and execute all operational aspects of project builds efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality benchmarks. The ideal candidate will manage multiple priorities, solve problems proactively, and handle time-sensitive challenges with confidence.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Managers during the planning stages to discuss operational requirements. \n
- Lead internal weekly operations meetings to capture and update operational needs, resolving any issues before project commencement. \n
- Manage the Team Track software to reflect current, future, and pipeline projects, adjusting for unplanned resourcing needs. \n
- Coordinate the booking of both internal and freelance crew, ensuring all necessary licenses and information are provided through detailed crew packs. \n
- Negotiate rates and draft contracts with UK and global partner crewing agencies. \n
- Work closely with Finance and Project Management teams to approve invoices from freelance crew and partner agencies post-project. \n
- Regularly communicate with the crew to address any project-specific queries and provide support for ad-hoc enquiries. \n
- Manage all UK and international site transport logistics, negotiating with haulage companies to ensure timely collections and deliveries. \n
- Continually negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers to maintain quality while reducing costs. \n
- Handle the booking of required plant and accommodation for projects, securing the best value and fostering long-term partnerships. \n
- Coordinate with Corporate Traveller for booking flights for international projects, ensuring all travel documents are in order. \n
- Assist the Project Manager with administrative tasks, including crew licenses and accreditation. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven operations experience in a similar industry. \n
- Knowledge of plant machinery and its application on site. \n
- Excellent multitasking skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- High proficiency in IT, including Excel, Word, and Google Drive. \n
- Highly organised with superior time management skills. \n
- Keen attention to detail. \n
- Willingness to work both in the office and on-site. \n
