Android Developer

Reed Technology is working with a Glasgow based company, as they look to add an Android Developer to their team developing real-time communication apps and accessibility solutions that make a real difference for people worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
\n
• Build intuitive, user-facing features with a strong focus on UI/UX
\n
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and external services
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design and backend engineering
\n
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Strong experience in Android native development (Java / Kotlin)
\n
• Experience building front-end/mobile user interfaces
\n
• Experience integrating and working with APIs
\n
• Good understanding of UX/UI principles
\n
• Bonus: exposure to C# or Swift
\n
