AI Governance & Privacy Project Manager

AI GOVERNANCE & PRIVACY PROJECT MANAGERInitial 6mth contract with scope to extend - Pro rata salary £90k PA

(Sponsorship is Unavailable)Start date - ASAP.This role will primarily focus on building out our AI governance program and supporting the global privacy and data protection programme.

• Support the AI compliance program, with a focus on maintaining data and AI inventories and maps to ensure compliance with applicable AI laws and regulations.
\n
• Perform other tasks related to supporting data governance and AI compliance programs as reasonably required
\n
• Collaborate with different business teams to enhance the data retention and destruction program
\n
• Promote adoption of privacy and data governance best practices through training and education initiatives
\n
• Foster a culture of data responsibility and compliance by promoting data literacy and awareness across all levels of the organisation
\n
• Champion innovation in data governance by identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions to address emerging enterprise-level data challenges
\n

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

\n
• Report to the Global Privacy and Data Protection Director (London-based)
\n
• Work closely with Global Privacy and Risk Management teams, including:\n
  \n
  • Operational Risk
  \n
  • Ethics and Compliance
  \n
  • Contract Risk
  \n
\n
• Engage with regional business stakeholders, including:\n
  \n
  • Regional Managing Directors
  \n
  • Regional Boards
  \n
  • Regional Risk Management representatives
  \n
\n
• Collaborate with central services teams:\n
  \n
  • Finance
  \n
  • HR
  \n
  • IT
  \n
\n
• Liaise with other risk roles outside Risk Management (e.g. SOX monitoring teams)
\n
• Interface with external advisors such as lawyers, insurance brokers, and the wider Risk, Ethics and Compliance team
\n

Qualifications & Experience

\n
• AI and Data Governance Expertise:\n
  \n
  • Strong understanding of AI, data architectures, governance frameworks, data warehousing, data integrity, and stewardship practices
  \n
\n
• Regulatory Knowledge:\n
  \n
  • Strong understanding of AI, data protection, privacy, and data governance regulatory requirements
  \n
\n
• Experience:\n
  \n
  • Privacy and project management experience
  \n
  • Professional background preferred (e.g. legal, finance, audit)
  \n
\n
• Risk Evaluation:\n
  \n
  • Ability to assess risks, articulate issues, build consensus, and implement effective solutions
  \n
\n
• Education & Background:\n
  \n
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  \n
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in privacy, data governance, data quality management, electronic information systems, and/or compliance in a multinational organisation.
