Looking for flexible Teaching Assistant work in primary schools?\nThe Supply Register is recruiting Primary Supply Teaching Assistants to support schools within the Greenwood Academies Trust in Skegness.
\nWe offer a range of day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term opportunities, ideal for experienced support staff looking for flexible work.
Important Requirement\nThis role is only suitable for candidates with previous experience working with children in education or care settings.Experience supporting pupils with SEN is highly desirable.
About the Role\nAs a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils across primary settings, including those with additional needs, helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
\nRoles may include:

- General classroom support \n
- Small group work \n
- 1:1 support for pupils with SEN \n
- Acting as a key adult where required \n
- \n
- Support teaching and learning in primary classrooms \n
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support, including for SEN pupils \n
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery \n
- Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive environment \n
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement \n
- Support pupils’ social and emotional development \n
- \n
- Experience working with children or young people (essential) \n
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN (highly desirable) \n
- Strong communication and behaviour-management skills \n
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach \n
- Confidence working in primary settings \n
- A valid DBS (or willingness to apply) \n
- \n
- You have never worked with children \n
- You are seeking non-education roles \n
- You are not comfortable supporting SEN pupils \n
- You cannot commit to school working hours \n
