\n\nWe are looking for a skilled Maintenance Assistant with a passion for making a difference to others.
\n\nYou’ll be working 40 hours per week, 08:00am to 16:00pm, at Redmarley, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.
\n\nRedmarley is a specialist residential service with nursing, designed to support people with mental health conditions and other complex needs. Our nurse-led team provides a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic home environment. We empower people to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives.
\n\nYour day-to-day...
\n- \n
- Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service \n
- Carry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting & general building work \n
- Maintain plant, services & vehicles in working order \n
- Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment & potential hazards \n
- Travel to other sites & on occasions be on call to carry out emergency repairs outside of normal working hours \n
- Check the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices & fire emergency lights \n

You are...
\n- \n
- Experienced in all types of painting and decorating in both indoor and outdoor environments \n
- Willing to travel & hold a full valid driving licence \n
- Able to communicate at all levels & record detailed, accurate maintenance information \n
- Skilled at DIY & general maintenance \n
- Preferably Level 2 Diploma qualified in Painting & Decorating/Maintenance \n
- Friendly, conscientious & an excellent team member with a positive attitude \n
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
