SEN Early Years Practitioner - Poole
\n\nPay: From £14.25 per hourStart Date: ASAP
\n\nProspero Teaching is delighted to be supporting a warm, inclusive early years setting in Poole. They are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3 qualified) to join their team and provide high-quality support for children aged 0-5 with a range of additional needs.
\n\nThis role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood development, with a particular interest in supporting children with SEND, including Autism, Speech & Language delay, sensory needs, and social-emotional development.
\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing
\nAs an SEN Early Years Practitioner, you will:
\n- \n
- Support daily routines and learning activities within the early years environment \n
- Provide nurturing, individualised support for children with additional needs \n
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive setting \n
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate, SEN-focused activities \n
- Encourage children's communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation \n
- Work closely with colleagues, SENCOs, and external professionals \n
- Communicate positively with parents and carers \n
- Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times \n
What We're Looking For
\nWe'd love to hear from you if you:
\n- \n
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification \n
- Have experience supporting children in an early years or SEN setting \n
- Bring warmth, patience, and a child-centred approach \n
- Understand the EYFS framework and early child development \n
- Communicate clearly and kindly with families and colleagues \n
- Are reliable, flexible, and a strong team player \n
Requirements
\nTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
\n- \n
- Have the Right to Work in the UK \n
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply) \n
- Provide two professional references from the past 24 months \n
- Be available for full-time hours, Monday to Friday \n
