As the successful Year 6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in guiding pupils through the final year of primary education.
\nYou will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment, delivering high-quality lessons, and ensuring every child is fully prepared for SATs and the transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:\n- \n
- Teaching a Year 6 class across the full primary curriculum \n
- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire learning \n
- Supporting pupils in achieving strong outcomes in Reading, Writing and Maths \n
- Preparing pupils confidently for KS2 SATs assessments \n
- Tracking progress and implementing effective intervention strategies \n
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement \n
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues \n
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and its continued success \n

To be considered, you will have:\n- \n
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) \n
- Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2 \n
- Previous Year 6 teaching experience (desirable but not essential) \n
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks \n
- Experience supporting pupils towards SATs success \n
- Excellent classroom management skills \n
- A positive, resilient and proactive approach \n
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their best \n
