Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – All-Through SEND School\n

Location: Lewisham

\n

Pay:£120–£150 per day (depending on experience)

\n

Hours: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm

\n

Start Date: ASAP

\n

Dress Code: Casual / Dress Down

Complete Classroom Services are seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive all-through SEND school in Lewisham.

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and is confident working across a range of age groups and abilities.

About the Role:\n
    \n
  • Delivering targeted interventions and supporting pupil progress
  • \n
  • Assisting with the implementation and review of EHCP targets
  • \n
  • Supporting students with a range of SEND needs across the school
  • \n
  • Managing and supporting multiple pupils within classroom and intervention settings
  • \n
  • Recording and reporting incidents, observations and progress using CPOMS
  • \n
  • Adapting support strategies to meet individual pupil needs and emotional regulation requirements
  • \n
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider SEND team
  • \n
We're Looking For Someone Who:\n
    \n
  • Holds a HLTA qualification or has at least 4 years' experience working as an HLTA
  • \n
  • Has a strong understanding of EHCPs, report writing and SEND support strategies
  • \n
  • Has experience delivering interventions and using Team Teach strategies
  • \n
  • Is confident supporting and managing more than one child at a time
  • \n
  • Has good basic IT skills and experience using systems such as CPOMS
  • \n
  • Is adaptable, proactive and able to respond effectively to changing pupil needs and moods
  • \n
  • Holds a DBS on the Update Service
  • \n
