Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – All-Through SEND School\n\n
Location: Lewisham
\nPay:£120–£150 per day (depending on experience)
\nHours: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm
\nStart Date: ASAP
\nDress Code: Casual / Dress Down
\nComplete Classroom Services are seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive all-through SEND school in Lewisham.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and is confident working across a range of age groups and abilities.
About the Role:\n- \n
- Delivering targeted interventions and supporting pupil progress \n
- Assisting with the implementation and review of EHCP targets \n
- Supporting students with a range of SEND needs across the school \n
- Managing and supporting multiple pupils within classroom and intervention settings \n
- Recording and reporting incidents, observations and progress using CPOMS \n
- Adapting support strategies to meet individual pupil needs and emotional regulation requirements \n
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider SEND team \n

- Holds a HLTA qualification or has at least 4 years' experience working as an HLTA \n
- Has a strong understanding of EHCPs, report writing and SEND support strategies \n
- Has experience delivering interventions and using Team Teach strategies \n
- Is confident supporting and managing more than one child at a time \n
- Has good basic IT skills and experience using systems such as CPOMS \n
- Is adaptable, proactive and able to respond effectively to changing pupil needs and moods \n
- Holds a DBS on the Update Service \n
