Primary School Caretaker - StockportFull-Time | Split Shift | ASAP Start

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Primary School Caretaker to join a welcoming primary school in Stockport. This is a full-time, split shift position with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented school environment, ensuring the site is ready for staff, pupils, and visitors each day.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a School Caretaker, Site Supervisor, or in a similar facilities role.
\n
• Knowledge of general maintenance, health and safety, and site security.
\n
• The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
\n
• A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
\n

The role includes:

\n
• Opening and closing the school site.
\n
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs.
\n
• Ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, and clean.
\n
• Monitoring contractors and reporting maintenance issues.
\n
• Supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the school.
\n
