The Role

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the curriculum, helping to create an engaging and positive learning experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting teaching and learning activities in the classroom.

• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
\n
• Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation.
\n
• Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
\n
• Supporting the social and emotional development of pupils.

• Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
\n
• Are enthusiastic, patient and caring.
\n
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
\n
• Are committed to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
\n
• Hold relevant qualifications or experience within education (desirable but not essential).
