Linux Platform Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator\n

6 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working

A leading telecommunications company is looking for an experienced Linux Platform Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale, high-availability customer platform.

\n

Working within an Agile operations team, you'll be responsible for Linux administration, platform maintenance, patching, deployments, capacity management, incident resolution, and supporting the evolution of a next-generation platform.

  • Linux Systems Administration

  • Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability environments

  • VMware
    • \n
  • Docker, Podman or container technologies
    • \n
  • Strong operational support and troubleshooting experience

  • Security-focused approach to platform management
    • \n

  • Bash scripting
    • \n
  • SQL
    • \n
  • Kafka, Cassandra or Hazelcast
    • \n
  • Monitoring tools (e.g. CheckMK, Selenium)
