• Equivalent to approximately £95 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

A highly regarded independent school in Tonbridge, Kent is seeking a committed and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.

This role involves providing tailored, consistent support to help the pupil access learning, regulate emotions and develop independence within a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 classroom support
\n
• Support emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
\n
• Adapt learning materials to individual needs
\n
• Work closely with the SENCO and teaching team
\n
• Encourage independence and engagement
\n

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ school-based experience
\n
• Experience supporting SEN pupils (SEMH ideal)
\n
• Calm, consistent and nurturing approach
\n
• Independent school experience beneficial
\n
