We are seeking a dedicated School Cleaner for our secondary school in Radcliffe. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff. The term starts on 1st September, and the working hours are designed to fit around school operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Ensure all areas of the school are clean, tidy, and hygienic.
\n
• Operate cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners, polishers, and buffers.
\n
• Handle cleaning supplies safely and use them according to instructions.
\n
• Clean classrooms, hallways, offices, and toilets.
\n
• Empty and clean waste bins and dispose of rubbish.
\n
• Report any issues or repairs needed to management.
\n
• Maintain security of the school premises by closing windows and doors after cleaning.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
\n
• Good attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Reliable and punctual.
\n
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
\n
