Art and Textiles Teacher

- Working Hours: Full-time \n
We are seeking a qualified Art and Textiles Teacher to join our faith-based school for a temporary position starting in September and concluding on October 16th. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator with a passion for art and textiles, who possesses the necessary qualifications and experience to inspire young minds in a community predominantly of Christian and Jewish students.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons in Art and Textiles that engage and motivate students. \n
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for any necessary evaluations. \n
- Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity. \n
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and learning experience. \n
- Manage classroom resources and ensure a tidy and orderly workspace. \n
- Uphold the faith-based ethos of the school in all teaching and interactions, respecting the religious backgrounds of all students. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. \n
- Experience teaching Art and Textiles in a secondary school setting. \n
- Strong organisational and communication skills. \n
- Ability to foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively. \n
- Passion for art and creative teaching methods. \n
- Respect for and understanding of the school's faith-based values. \n
