The Role:\n- \n

Delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Planning, preparing and marking lessons in line with the national curriculum
\n - \n
Creating an engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking
\n - \n
Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
\n - \n
Contributing to the wider school community and departmental planning
\n

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent UK teaching qualification
\n - \n
Strong subject knowledge in any biology would be desirable
\n - \n
A proven track record of successful classroom teaching and pupil progress
\n - \n
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
\n - \n
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
\n - \n
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
