Traffic Marshall

Your new companyHays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshal / Banksman to work on a busy commercial construction project in Leyland.This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join a well-established site team on a temporary basis, with immediate starts available.Your new role

• Safely directing the movement of vehicles and plant machinery around site.
\n
• Banking deliveries and ensuring safe access and egress for all vehicles.
\n
• Managing delivery schedules and liaising with drivers upon arrival.
\n
• Controlling pedestrian and vehicle segregation to maintain site safety.
\n
• Monitoring site access points and ensuring only authorised personnel enter site.
\n
• Assisting with gate duties and signing visitors and deliveries in and out.
\n
• Maintaining clear and safe traffic routes around the construction site.
\n
• Communicating effectively with site management, operatives and delivery drivers.
\n
• Reporting hazards, near misses and safety concerns promptly.
\n
• Supporting general site operations when vehicle movements are minimal.
\n

What you'll need to succeed

\n
• Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification.
\n
• CSCS Card.
\n
• Previous experience working on busy construction sites.
\n
• Strong awareness of construction health and safety regulations
\n
