The Company
\nOur client is a specialist manufacturer. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit a Production Manager.
\nThe Role
\n- \n
- You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production process ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, on time and within budget. \n
- Duties to include planning production schedules, managing resources (personnel, materials, equipment) and maintaining quality standards. \n
- You will also work to improve processes, reduce costs and ensure safety. \n
- Is day shift managing a team of 45. \n
- You will lead your team and area to successfully deliver your KPI's and drive business performance. \n
- Coach, develop and lead staff and establish a continuous improvement culture. \n
- Take full responsibility for the day to day running of a department on shift, ensuring the Health and Safety of all colleagues whilst maintaining and making improvements in all areas. \n
- Monitor and communicate the site plan, performance KPI's and targets ensuring that all colleagues are striving to achieve the same goal. \n
The Person
\n- \n
- Will ideally be degree qualified in a related field. \n
- Previous engineering or manufacturing experience preferred. \n
- You will have good leadership/team management experience. \n
- Will have good planning skills. \n
- You will be IT literate with good analytical skills. \n
- Will have the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload. \n
