We're recruiting for a Credit Controller & Debt Recovery Specialist to join a well-respected and growing business based in the Watton area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for a varied role that combines credit control, debt recovery, client relationship management and business development within a supportive company that actively encourages career progression.

The Role

As a Credit Controller, you will:

• Manage sales ledgers for multiple clients
\n
• Chase outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment collection
\n
• Allocate and reconcile payments
\n
• Manage a portfolio of debt recovery cases from initial contact through to resolution
\n
• Prepare demand letters, negotiate payment plans and carry out pre-legal debt recovery processes
\n
• Resolve account disputes through effective negotiation with clients and debtors
\n
• Complete bank reconciliations and process payments
\n
• Build strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional customer service
\n
• Support business development activities and identify opportunities to grow the client base
\n

Credit Controller Requirements

\n
• Previous experience within credit control, debt recovery or a similar finance role
\n
• Experience managing company sales ledgers
\n
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
\n
• Good understanding of the debt recovery process
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
\n
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
\n
• Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
\n

What's on Offer?

• Basic salary of up to £33,000
\n
• Bonus scheme with realistic OTE of £35,000 - £36,000
\n
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm working hours
