Financial Accounting Manager (12-Month FTC)Fareham, Hampshire | Hybrid (3 days in the office)£75,000–£80,000 + 10% Bonus + Excellent BenefitsAre you an experienced Financial Accounting Manager looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a global organisation?We're working exclusively with a well-established international business to recruit a Financial Accounting Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative finance function, leading a small team while taking ownership of financial reporting across multiple international entities.This role would suit a qualified accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is confident partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.The Role Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, managing the month-end close process and ensuring strong financial controls across a number of EMEA entities.You'll also play an important role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives, developing your team and working closely with both finance and operational stakeholders across the organisation.Key Responsibilities include:\n

  • Lead the month-end and year-end financial reporting process for multiple legal entities.
  • \n
  • Manage and develop a small finance team, providing coaching and technical support.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with senior finance leaders and operational stakeholders across the business.
  • \n
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
  • \n
  • Partner with audit teams to deliver successful internal and external audit processes.
  • \n
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex financial matters.
  • \n
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiencies.
  • \n
  • Support finance systems and process improvement projects.
  • \n
About YouWe're looking for a confident finance leader who enjoys building relationships and leading high-performing teams.You'll ideally have:\n
    \n
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • \n
  • At least five years' post-qualified experience.
  • \n
  • Previous experience managing a financial accounting team.
  • \n
  • Experience delivering financial reporting within a large international organisation.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of UK and US GAAP reporting requirements.
  • \n
  • Experience working within a shared services or matrix organisation would be advantageous.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to work in a changing business environment.
  • \n
