Fletcher George are delighted to be working with a highly regarded, privately owned accountancy practice in the Woking area who are looking to appoint an experienced Part-Time Payroller.

Working within a friendly and supportive team, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of client payrolls, delivering an accurate and professional service to a wide range of owner-managed businesses.

The Payroller Role

\n
• Manage a portfolio of monthly payrolls for a wide range of owner-managed businesses.
\n
• Process payrolls for company directors and their employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
\n
• Process starters, leavers and changes to employee records.
\n
• Administer statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and other statutory entitlements.
\n
• Submit RTI returns and pension contributions in line with HMRC requirements.
\n
• Prepare payroll year-end requirements including P60s and assist with the preparation of P11Ds.
\n
• Ensure all payrolls are fully compliant with current UK payroll legislation and HMRC regulations.
\n
• Liaise directly with clients, responding to payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
\n
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.
\n
• Use Brightpay to process payrolls efficiently and accurately.
\n
• Build strong client relationships, providing a reliable and proactive payroll service.
\n

About You

\n
• Previous payroll experience within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
\n
• Confident managing multiple client payrolls from start to finish.
\n
• Excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation including SSP, SMP, SPP, RTI, Auto Enrolment, P60s and P11Ds.
\n
• Experience using Brightpay is highly desirable or an equivalent Payroll system.
\n
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
\n
• A professional, client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
\n
