Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Flatbed Driver on behalf of a valued client based in Leeds.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for regular trunking work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

\n

The role involves delivering shed panels on an 18-tonne flatbed vehicle from Leeds to the client's Scottish depot, with two nights out per week.

The Role\n

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

\n

• \n

  Delivering shed panels from Leeds to Scotland

\n
• \n

  Driving an 18-tonne flatbed vehicle

\n
• \n

  Completing a twice-weekly trunk run

\n
• \n

  Starting at 04:00 on Day One and 10:00 on Day Two

\n
• \n

  Assisting with some manual handling as part of the delivery process

\n
• \n

  Working alongside loaders who are available to assist with loading and unloading

\n
• \n

  Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining transport compliance

\n
• \n

  Providing a professional service on behalf of our client

\n

What We're Looking For\n

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

\n

\n
• \n

  A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence

\n
• \n

  At least 12 months' Class 2 driving experience

\n
• \n

  Recent commercial driving experience

\n
• \n

  A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

\n
• \n

  A valid Digital Tachograph Card

\n
• \n

  No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)

\n
• \n

  A reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude

\n
