Reach Truck Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join a leading Steel Distributor based in Wednesbury.\n
\nWere looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals with a valid, in-date Reach Truck licence and previous experience in a similar role.\n
\nKey Responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Operating a Reach Truck to move, locate, and stack steel products safely and efficiently.
  
\n
• Picking and preparing customer orders according to specifications.
  
\n
• Accurately packing and labelling goods for dispatch.
  
\n
• Conducting quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with order requirements.
  
\n
• Supporting stock control and general warehouse duties when required.
  
\n

\nRequirements:\n
\n

\n
• Valid, in-date Reach Truck licence (essential)
  
\n
• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck (essential)
  
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
\n
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  
\n
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
  
\n
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.
  
\n
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player.
  
\n

\nWorking hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 - 19:30\n
Hourly rate of £12.71 per hour.\n
\nThis is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent after a successful trial period.\n
