\nAre you an organised, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment? We are seeking a Project Manager to join our busy engineering team, supporting the delivery of a high volume of planned and reactive projects across the construction and water sectors.
About the role\nThis role is based in Bournemouth, there may be occasions where the successful candidate is required to provide assistance with incidences in the Bristol Water catchment. You will be operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. It offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical works—often to tight timescales—while gaining exposure to a broad range of technical disciplines and real-world project challenges.

What you'll be doing:\n- \n

Managing and supporting delivery ofmultiple fast-turnaround Drinking Water engineering projects
\n - \n
Coordinating teams, contractors, and stakeholders to keep projects on track
\n - \n
Taking ownership ofproject timelines, costs, and quality outcomes
\n - \n
Supporting mobilisation of works, including temporary solutions when needed
\n - \n
Monitoring progress and proactively resolving issues before they impact delivery
\n - \n
Handlingreactive and emergency works, including occasional out-of-hours support
\n - \n
Forecasting costs and keeping projects aligned with budgets
\n - \n
Ensuring smoothhandover to operations and completing project close-out documentation
\n - \n
Championinghealth & safety compliance across all activities
\n

Experience within the construction and/or water industry
\n - \n
Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
\n - \n
Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, can-do attitude
\n - \n
Ability to think laterally and solve problems efficiently
\n - \n
Sound working knowledge of health and safety requirements
\n - \n
Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
\n - \n
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
\n - \n
Experience in managing or supporting project budgets and cost control
\n - \n
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
\n - \n
Flexibility to accommodate emergency or reactive work outside normal working hours
\n
