An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR leader to join a leading international energy company as Head of Human Resources.

I'm currently partnering with my client to recruit an accomplished HR professional to lead the HR function across Europe and North America.

\n

\n

This is a high-impact leadership role, working closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver a regional people strategy that supports business growth, organisational excellence and long-term success across multiple jurisdictions. Job Title: Head of Human Resources

\n

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

\n

Working Pattern: On-site, 5 days per week

\n

Location: Central London

\n

Salary: £120,000–£150,000

\n

\n

The Role

\n

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll take ownership of both the strategic and operational HR agenda, leading the development of a modern, commercially focused HR function across the region.

\n

\n

Key responsibilities include:

\n
    \n
  • Designing and implementing the regional HR framework, including organisational design, job grading, performance management and reward structures.
  • \n
  • Developing HR policies, procedures and governance across multiple countries while ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • \n
  • Leading talent acquisition, workforce planning and employer branding initiatives to support continued business growth.
  • \n
  • Managing compensation and benefits, salary benchmarking, payroll, pensions and HR budgeting.
  • \n
  • Overseeing UK immigration, Sponsor Licence compliance and Right to Work processes.
  • \n
  • Providing expert guidance on employee relations, organisational change, succession planning and leadership development.
  • \n
  • Building HR reporting and people analytics to support strategic business decisions.
  • \n
  • Leading and developing the regional HR team while acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior management.

About You

\n

You'll be an experienced HR leader who enjoys building high-performing HR functions, influencing senior stakeholders and working within a dynamic international environment.We're looking for someone with:

    \n
  • Significant HR leadership experience within the energy, oil & gas sector.
  • \n
  • Experience supporting businesses across multiple European countries and, ideally, North America.
  • \n
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, payroll, pensions and immigration compliance.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in organisational design, HR transformation and change management.
  • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • \n
