HGV1 (C+E) Day Driver£17.00 per hour | Overtime £22.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | Immediate Starts AvailablePertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to support one of our valued clients with ongoing holiday cover requirements.This role offers block weekly bookings, regular day shifts, minimal manual handling and immediate assessment opportunities.The Role\n

• Monday to Friday
\n
• Start times between 05:00 - 05:30
\n
• Average 8-9 hour shifts
\n
• Delivering goods to trade and commercial sites
\n
• Operating curtain-side vehicles
\n
• Goods unloaded by FLT at delivery points
\n
• Minimal handball involved
\n
• Ongoing holiday cover with block bookings available
\n

Pay Rates\n

\n
• £17.00 per hour
\n
• £22.50 per hour overtime rate after 10 hours worked per day
\n
• Weekly pay
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• 6-12 months Class 1 driving experience
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points
\n
• Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
\n
• Reliable and professional approach to work
\n
