SEN Teaching Assistants
\nProspero Teaching are currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated SEN School in Emsworth.
\nThis specialist school provides high-quality education and care for students aged 11-16 years with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive. As a successful candidate, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and socially, working alongside a committed team to deliver a nurturing, pupil-centred learning experience.
\nWhile prior experience in a school or SEN setting is advantageous, it is not essential the school offers ongoing training and professional development for the right candidate with the right attitude. Role:

- Location: Emsworth, Hampshire \n
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant \n
- Start Date: ASAP (Immediate start available) \n
- Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent opportunities \n
- Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday \n
- Pay Rate: From GBP11.20 per hour \n
Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Support students with Moderate Learning Difficulties in the classroom \n
- Assist with learning activities, engagement, and behaviour management \n
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment \n
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff \n
- Support students' emotional, social, and personal development \n
- Provide personal care support where required \n
Candidate Requirements:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (SEN experience desirable but not essential) \n
- Passion for supporting children with ASD, Aspergers, and complex needs \n
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to engage students effectively \n
- A positive, patient, and caring attitude \n
- Willingness to participate in classroom activities \n
- Comfortable supporting with personal care needs \n
To be considered for this role, you must:

- Have the Right to Work in the UK \n
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply \n
- Provide two professional references, preferably child-related \n
