Teaching Assistant – SEN School
\nCarnforth 32.5 hours per week, September Start, temp-to-perm position
\nWe are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Carnforth from September on a full-time basis.
\nThis welcoming and well-resourced school supports children and young people aged 2–19 years with a range of complex needs, including:
\n- \n
- Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) \n
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) \n
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) \n
The Role
\nAs a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with highly individualised learning needs. You will:

- Assist in delivering tailored learning and care plans \n
- Support students with communication, sensory, and personal care needs \n
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff \n
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment \n
What We’re Looking For
\nWe are looking for individuals who are:
\n- \n
- Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEN, PMLD, or SLD(essential) \n
- Passionate about working with children with additional needs \n
- Reliable, caring, and patient \n
- Strong team players with a positive attitude \n
- Available full-time from September \n
- Hold a valid clear DBS on the update service, or are willing to obtain one prior to starting \n
