\nSalary: £40,000 - £60,000
\nCommission: 10% commission on gross profit generated
\n\nA growing IT infrastructure and network services provider is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK market.
\n\nThis is a true hunter role focused on generating opportunities, building relationships and winning new business across infrastructure, networking and technical support services. The business is specifically looking for someone with a background in IT infrastructure or technical services rather than SaaS or software sales.
\n\n\nWhat you'll be doing:

- Generate new business opportunities across the IT infrastructure and networking market \n
- Build relationships with IT leaders, procurement teams and technical decision makers \n
- Attend trade shows, networking events and industry meetings \n
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close \n
- Sell infrastructure, networking and technical support services across a broad client base \n
- Build and manage your own pipeline and commercial activity \n
- Work closely with leadership on growth strategy and market opportunities \n
- Support and guide a small internal commercial team \n
What you'll need:

- Proven experience in a hunter-style Business Development role \n
- Background in IT infrastructure, networking, telecoms, cabling or technical services sales \n
- Experience selling services rather than SaaS or software platforms \n
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills \n
- Comfortable generating opportunities through both outbound activity and face-to-face engagement \n
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop opportunities \n
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment \n
Location: Remote with travel (all travel expensed)
\nOffice Requirement: Birmingham office once per month
\n\n\nThis role would suit someone from an infrastructure or technical services background who enjoys building relationships, generating opportunities and operating in a true new business environment.
