Linux RHEL Engineer - SC Cleared - Inside IR35 - Hybrid 2/3 days per week
\nMy client seeks to recruit an experienced Linux engineer - support in maintenance, upgrades and general house keeping

- Previous experience in a technical position within Linux platform support and/or delivery \n

- Familiarity with request, problem and project management processes and tools \n

- Adept at stakeholder communications, from senior level to domain-wide engagement events \n
- \n

- Experienced in managing risk, compliance, audit and security obligations, including implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures \n
Mandatory Technical Skills

- Experience of managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux production systems (RHEL 7 through to 10) \n

- Experience of using scripting to automate tasks \n

- Planning and prioritising of project delivery activities \n

- Good interpersonal and communication skills \n

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills \n
- \n
- Experience with virtualisation technologies (Linux under VMWare) \n

- Experience of working within the ITIL framework \n

- Experience of managing systems with RHN satellite \n

- Experience with JBoss \n

- Linux performance tuning skills \n
- \n
- Experience with Linux failover clustering \n
- \n
- Experience of Kerberos in regards to securing Linux applications and AD integration. \n

- Experience of Cisco UCS hardware. \n

- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and execution \n
- \n
- Proven skills in aligning IT with organisational drivers \n

- Industry awareness to identify improvement opportunities and implement them across \n
