PE Teacher

Job Title: Teacher of Physical Education (PE)Responsible to: Head of PE

Purpose of the Role To deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire students to develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork, and enjoyment of sport while promoting healthy lifestyles across the school.

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
\n
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback.
\n
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
\n
• Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school competitions.
\n
• Contribute to curriculum development and work collaboratively within the PE department.
\n
• Promote safeguarding, equality, and student wellbeing at all times.
\n

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
\n
• Degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
\n
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to raising student achievement and participation in sport.
\n
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
