SEN Teaching Assistant
\nReed Education are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Ellesmere Port from September on a full-time, long-term basis.

\nThis is a well-established SEMH specialist school supporting secondary aged pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

\n\nThe Role
\nYou will be working with pupils in Years 7-11, supporting a range of additional needs, particularly SEMH.
\nYour responsibilities will include:

- Providing 1:1 and small group support \n
- Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation \n
- Assisting with tailored learning activities \n
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils \n
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams \n
What We’re Looking For
\n- \n
- Previous experience working with children or young people (essential) \n
- Experience in an SEMH setting is highly desirable, but not essential \n
- A calm, resilient and patient approach \n
- Strong behaviour management skills \n
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs \n
