SEN Teaching Assistant - B92, Solihull | Full-Time

Josh from Prospero Teaching Group is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in the B92 area of Solihull.

This is a full-time position (5 days per week), supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD). You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals within a nurturing and supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support tailored to each pupil's needs.
\n
• Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning where required.
\n
• Supporting pupils' communication, social, and emotional development.
\n
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team.
\n
• Encouraging independence while ensuring pupils feel safe, valued, and supported.
\n
• Undergoing a child and adult DBS
\n
• Must be flexible on year groups
\n

The ideal candidate will be patient, caring, and passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children with additional needs. Previous experience supporting pupils with SLD or other complex needs is desirable but not essential.
