Full-Time Teaching Assistant - KS1 & SEND Role | September Start

REED / Lancashire Teaching Agency (LTA) are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school from September on a long-term supply basis.

This role is 5 days per week, working 8:30am – 3:30pm, and offers a varied and rewarding position across the school.

The successful candidate will be:

• Supporting a Year 2 class in the mornings, assisting with general classroom activities and learning
\n
• Working within the school’s SEND provision in the afternoons, supporting pupils with additional needs
\n

This is a long-term role while the school re-advertises for a permanent position, making it ideal for someone looking for consistency and a full academic timetable.

Key Requirements:

\n
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
\n
• Confidence supporting within KS1 (Year 2)
\n
• Some experience or understanding of SEND is highly desirable
\n
• A flexible and proactive approach to working across different classroom settings
\n
