Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and creative EYFS lessons.
  • \n
  • Work closely with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to enhance student learning and development.
  • \n
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom activities and resources.
  • \n
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
  • \n
  • Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of pupils.
  • \n
  • Observe and report on pupil progress, adhering to the EYFS framework.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • Proven experience working within an EYFS setting; experience in Reception is highly desirable.
  • \n
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working collaboratively with teaching staff.
  • \n
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • \n
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • \n
