Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Overview

Simon Lincoln Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for a Temporary Maintenance Operative to join the team at King Square Studios in Bristol for an initial 5-week assignment.

This is a hands-on role supporting the site team with general maintenance, repairs and making good throughout the property. We are looking for a reliable individual who takes pride in delivering high standards of work and customer service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work throughout the property.
\n
• Complete basic painting and decorating tasks.
\n
• Perform minor plumbing and joinery repairs.
\n
• Replace fixtures and fittings where required.
\n
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
\n
• Support room inspections and prepare rooms for incoming residents.
\n
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
\n
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
\n
• Work closely with the site management team to resolve maintenance issues promptly.

Skills & Experience

\n
• Previous maintenance or facilities experience is essential.
\n
• Basic skills across painting, plumbing, joinery and general repairs.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
\n
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Friendly and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
\n
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
\n
• Immediate availability preferred.
