About the Role

\n

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Learning Coach Tutor to support learners aged 16-25 undertaking Apprenticeship programmes and 16-19 Study Programmes.

\n

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to helping young people achieve their qualifications, develop essential skills, and progress into successful careers. The successful candidate will provide coaching, mentoring, and academic support, including the delivery of Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Manage a caseload of learners aged 16-25 across Apprenticeship and Study Programmes.
  • \n
  • Deliver and support Maths and English qualifications up to Level 2.
  • \n
  • Conduct regular learner reviews, progress assessments, and target-setting sessions.
  • \n
  • Provide one-to-one coaching and mentoring to support learner achievement and progression.
  • \n
  • Support learners to develop employability skills, personal development, and workplace behaviours.
  • \n
  • Monitor attendance, engagement, and performance, implementing interventions where required.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with employers, tutors, and stakeholders to ensure positive learner outcomes.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with funding and awarding body requirements.
  • \n
  • Support learners in preparing for assessments, examinations, and End Point Assessments (where applicable).
  • \n
  • Promote safeguarding, Prevent, equality, diversity, and learner wellbeing at all times.
  • \n
  • Encourage learners to achieve their full potential and progress into further learning, apprenticeships, or sustained employment.
  • \n
  • Meet performance targets relating to learner achievement, retention, and progression.
  • \n

About You

\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\n
    \n
  • Experience supporting or teaching learners aged 16-25.
  • \n
  • The ability to deliver or support Maths and English up to Level 2.
  • \n
  • Experience within apprenticeships, education, training, employability, or youth support programmes.
  • \n
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to build positive relationships with learners and employers.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • \n
  • A passion for supporting young people to succeed.
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (car allowance provided).
  • \n
