Solutions Architect

Infrastructure Solution Architect – 6-month contract – SC Cleared – London/remote

My Customer is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to join a major infrastructure transformation programme. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering infrastructure solutions that support data centre migrations, application transitions and wider technology change projects.

Working with technical teams and key stakeholders, you'll provide architectural guidance, manage technical risks and ensure solutions are delivered successfully from design through to implementation.

Required Skills from the Infrastructure Solution Architect:

• Active SC Clearance.
\n
• Experience working in Critical National Infrastructure environments
\n
• Previous experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect or Infrastructure Designer.
\n
• Strong background in infrastructure, data centre and application migrations.
\n
• Experience producing solution designs and technical documentation.
\n
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies and secure network architecture, including DMZ environments.
\n
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n

Key Responsibilities from the Infrastructure Solution Architect:

• Design infrastructure solutions for transformation and migration projects.
\n
• Produce solution designs and technical documentation.
\n
• Support data centre and application migrations.
\n
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues and dependencies.
\n
• Work closely with project teams and third-party suppliers.
\n
• Provide technical oversight throughout project delivery.
\n
• Support transition activities, including legacy infrastructure decommissioning.
\n

The Infrastructure Solution Architect is required onsite, 50% of the time in London.
