\nWe are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Northampton that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its permanent team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced staff, support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and develop your career within a supportive school environment.

Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects

Working with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and improve confidence
\n - \n
Providing additional support for pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional learning needs
\n - \n
Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour
\n - \n
Helping students develop independence, resilience, and engagement with their learning
\n - \n
Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
\n

Are considering a long-term career in teaching, educational psychology, SEND support, or pastoral care
\n - \n
Want to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting

Enjoy working with young people and supporting their academic and personal development

Is enthusiastic, patient, and approachable

Has experience working with young people through education, childcare, coaching, youth work, or care settings (desirable but not essential)
