We are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Northampton that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its permanent team from September 2026.   Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects

  Working with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and improve confidence

\n
• \n

  Providing additional support for pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional learning needs

\n
• \n

  Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour

\n
• \n

  Helping students develop independence, resilience, and engagement with their learning

\n
• \n

  Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

\n

• \n

  Are considering a long-term career in teaching, educational psychology, SEND support, or pastoral care

\n
• \n

  Want to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting

  Enjoy working with young people and supporting their academic and personal development
