An outstanding secondary school in Hackney is seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join their support team from September. This full-time Teaching Assistant role offers exceptional school-based experience for aspiring teachers looking to develop their classroom skills before progressing into teacher training.

Working alongside experienced teachers, you will support students across Years 7-11, helping individuals and small groups to achieve their full potential. You'll gain first-hand experience of outstanding teaching practice while building the confidence and skills needed for a successful teaching career.

The Role

Graduate Teaching Assistant

Full-time, Monday to Friday

\n

September start

\n

Supporting students across Years 7-11

\n

Working alongside experienced teachers in an Outstanding secondary school

\n

Excellent preparation for PGCE or teacher training

\n

\n

The Ideal Candidate

\n

A graduate with aspirations of becoming a secondary school teacher

\n

Previous experience working with young people, either paid or voluntary

\n

Experience may include tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching, youth work, school placements, overseas teaching, or similar

\n

Enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about education

\n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

\n

\n
