Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support

Morecambe Start Date: September 2026 Full-Time Role

Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 pupil on a 1:1 basis in a primary school in Morecambe, starting in September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming school and make a real impact by providing individualised support to a pupil who requires additional assistance in the classroom.

This role is full time for the full academic year.

• Full-time Teaching Assistant position
\n
• Providing 1:1 support within a KS1 classroom
\n
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
\n
• Supporting learning, behaviour and engagement
\n
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
\n

\n
• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
\n
• A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
\n
• Strong communication skills
\n
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
\n
• Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential
\n

• Dedicated consultant with 15 years' experience supporting Lancaster & Morecambe schools
\n
• Majority of local schools partner with Veritas for day-to-day, short and long-term roles
\n
• Friendly and supportive approach
\n
• Ongoing support throughout your placement
\n
• Opportunities for long-term and permanent roles
\n
