\n\nOur client is a fast-growing technology business delivering cybersecurity, networking and voice solutions to ambitious mid-market organisations looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of customer and internal projects across their Professional Services portfolio.
\nThis is a highly autonomous, client-facing role where you'll manage projects from initial handover through to successful completion and transition into support. Working closely with customers, technical teams and senior leadership, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.You'll also contribute to improving delivery processes and shaping the future of the Professional Services function.
\nKey Responsibilities of this PM role include:
\n\nLead the end-to-end delivery of customer and internal technology projects.
\nManage projects from sales handover through to transition into operational support.
\nDeliver projects within agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
\nCoordinate internal teams, suppliers and third-party partners.
\nMaintain effective project governance through planning, reporting and documentation.
\nWork alongside technical teams to ensure solutions are reviewed, approved and delivered successfully.
\nOversee seamless project handovers into business-as-usual support.
\nAct as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
\nBuild trusted relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels.
\nProvide regular project updates and communicate risks proactively.
\nDeliver an excellent customer experience that supports long-term partnerships.
\nManage customer expectations and drive timely project completion.
\nManage project risks, issues and dependencies.
\nControl project scope through formal change management processes.
\nBalance commercial considerations including time, cost and customer experience.
\nForecast project effort accurately and communicate potential overruns early.
\nEscalate issues where appropriate to ensure successful delivery.
\nMonitor project profitability, work in progress (WIP) and financial performance.
\nEnsure projects are closed promptly to support timely billing.
\nWork closely with Finance to maintain accurate project reporting.
\nCollaborate with Sales and Account Management to identify opportunities for additional services.
\nSupport smooth project mobilisation while protecting project margins.
\nContribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
\nHelp develop documentation, workflows, handovers and service standards.
\nSupport the effective use and ongoing improvement of project delivery systems and tools.

\n\n\nEssential Skills & Experience
\n\nProven experience delivering end-to-end IT or technology projects.
\nStrong experience managing the full project lifecycle from initiation through deployment and transition into support.
\nSolid understanding of project planning, governance, budgeting and reporting.
\nExperience managing project scope, risks, issues and dependencies.
\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\nStrong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
\nExperience working within IT or managed service environments.
\nPRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualification.
