We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis starting in September. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about teaching geography and can inspire young minds with the wonders of our world.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons to students across various key stages.
  • \n
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • \n
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to foster their academic growth.
  • \n
  • Maintain a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and share best teaching practices.
  • \n
  • Participate in school meetings and events.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • \n
  • Degree in Geography or a related field.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in teaching Geography at secondary school level.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • \n
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with the latest educational research.
