Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a high-end retail fit-out project at Bicester Village. This is a fast-paced project requiring a proactive manager with a strong background in retail fit-out, refurbishment and finishing works.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent client and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site activities throughout the fit-out project lifecycle.
\n
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour.
\n
• Ensure works are delivered in line with programme milestones and client expectations.
\n
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
\n
• Maintain and enforce Health & Safety compliance at all times.
\n
• Complete site inspections and quality assurance checks.
\n
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
\n
• Manage site documentation including RAMS, permits and daily site records.
\n
• Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics.
\n
• Liaise with client representatives, contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
\n
• Resolve site issues efficiently to minimise programme delays.
\n

Requirements:

Essential:

\n
• Valid CSCS Black Card (Management Level).
\n
• Proven experience working as a Site Manager on retail / residential / industrial fit-out projects.
\n
• Strong understanding of fit-out sequencing and finishing trades.
\n
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
\n
• Experience managing subcontractor packages.
\n
• Ability to work in a live retail environment while maintaining safety and operational standards.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance requirements.
\n

Desirable

• SMSTS Qualification.
\n
• First Aid at Work.
\n
• Fire Marshal certification.
\n
• Experience delivering luxury retail or premium brand fit-out projects.
\n
• Previous experience working within shopping centres or high-footfall retail environments.
\n
