Telecoms Engineer | 6 Month contract | Onsite in Exeter | £350-£375 InsideIR35Key
responsibilities:\n\n - Fault-find and repair analogue telephony systems across operational sites
\n - Diagnose issues related to PSTN/PSDN lines and support migration away from legacy services
\n - Configure, troubleshoot and replace Cisco switches
\n - Support structured cabling work (Cat5/6), patching and cabinet tidying
\n - Audit telecoms infrastructure at each site and document findings
\n - Liaise with site managers to plan outages and ensure minimal operational disruption
\n - Work with internal IT/OT teams to ensure network resilience
\n - Update asset records and report progress on remediation work
\n - Knowledge of SIP migration or VoIP gateways
