The Role\nAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role across the school, supporting teaching and learning from EYFS through to Key Stage 2. This is a varied position that offers the opportunity to lead learning, support pupil progress, and work alongside an experienced and collaborative teaching team.
Your key responsibilities will include:\n- \n
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 \n
- Providing high-quality PPA cover when required \n
- Leading small-group and one-to-one intervention programmes \n
- Supporting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment \n
- Adapting learning activities to meet individual pupil needs \n
- Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs \n
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning \n
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment \n
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents \n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised HLTA qualification or substantial equivalent experience \n
- Recent experience working within a UK primary school setting \n
- Confidence delivering lessons independently across primary year groups \n
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills \n
- Experience supporting children with SEND \n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills \n
- A proactive, flexible and reliable approach \n
- A genuine passion for supporting children's academic, social and emotional development \n
