Teaching Assistant (September Start)

We are looking for caring, resilient, and proactive individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants in complex needs schools from September.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting pupils with a range of needs, including:

• Autism (ASC)
\n
• SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
\n
• Non-verbal and verbal communication needs
\n
• Complex and additional learning needs
\n

Your responsibilities will include:

\n
• Building trusting relationships and strong rapport with pupils
\n
• Supporting pupils’ learning, development, and daily activities
\n
• Working under the direction of the class teacher
\n
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
\n
• Adapting your approach to meet individual needs and behaviours
\n

\n
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

• Consistent placements or ad hoc work available
\n
• You must be available to work full days (08:30 – 15:30) on the days you choose to work
\n
