Caretaker

We are currently looking for a Caretaker. You will be working in Solihull. This role requires a full UK Driving license

Monday – Friday

Shift Rota: 7:30am - 3pm and 11:30am - 7pm

Temp Contract - Ongoing

Pay rate - £13.05ph paye

Job Purpose

\n
• To open & close various corporate buildings at designated times in line with the business needs of the Council and to be available for occasional access to buildings out of hours.
\n
• Be able and willing to provide cover and support to the Facilities team at other corporate SMBC sites.
\n
• To carry out routine Health & Safety inspections / compliance checks, ensuring all security systems and procedures are adhered to across the corporate estate. Escalate, report or complete any actions.
\n
• To comply with Health & Safety legislation.
\n
• To participate in out of hours emergency call out procedures and rota.
\n
• To undertake general facilities and security duties.
\n
